Dear Partners in Mission,

Paul urged his friends to pour out their lives in order that other's faithfulness would be lived out.

" Even if I am being poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with you all. And you too, I urge you, rejoice in the same way and share your joy with me" (Philippians 2:18).

Paul's greatest joy as well as that of the Philippian church, was to pour our their lives so that other people's faith has full opportunity to bust into flame. In our day we need the same passion so mission partnership becomes an integrated joy.

Paul delights in "participation in the Gospel from the first day until now". The word behind participation is a Greek "Koinonia" translated as " Partnership" or " Fellowship". It is the kind of purposeful friendship people have always hungred for.

Paul had friends who shared in his struggle in the gospel(Phil.4:3). Apparently from the first day the Philippianis were eagerly involved in advancing the gospel, sharing it and laboring to see that others do even more. Paul invited every believer to make World evangelization the center point of their lives in the statement," I do all things for the sake of the gospel, that I may become a partaker of it"(1 Cor.9:23)

Paul declared that he is linked in heart with them," I have you in my heart", because they shared in the same enabling grace that he enjoyed in the defence and confirmation of the Gospel" you all are partakers of grace with me". Enablng grace enables every believer to play a suitable part in fulfilling His global purpose. Grace bestows vision, power, relationships, opportunities, resources and more. By God's design no one believer would be succesful without the other. I believe each one of us can live with power and joy that is truly God given.

I wish to thank each one of you for your prayers and support over the past year. Since I began to send the monthly Uganda Updates, many of you have become our partners in this important mission for Christ. As a result Impact Ministries has grown and become more effective in carrying out the Great Commission in Uganda. Consider what has happened over the last year alone:

* Faith Fellowship church was constructed in Mbale Town, East of Uganda

* We have increased our support to homeless children from 25 in 2001 to 62 children in the year 2002. We have purchased additional dairy cows and expanded the poultry project

* In the past year 2002, 104 students were trained in vocational skills like tailoring, Typing, Carpentry and brick Laying.

* 563 people gave their lives to Christ, 5 new churches were planted, 3 believers' conferences were conducted, 2 Leaders' conferences, one Youth conference, and one Women of faith Conference was held.

* 73 pastors received Bibles

* Joshua, the boy with heart problem is in the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas after receiving treatment and surgery 14th January 2003.

PRAYER NEEDS

1. Pray for the boy Joshua as he is recovering from major heart surgery.

2. We are working with the Rescue Mission to establish a hospital in Mbale Town, East of Uganda. Pray for funding to ship the container of hope with medical supplies(about $2,500 is still needed). Please pray for donations as we still need funds for renovation of the property where the hospital is established.

2. A child development center, complete with classrooms, dormitories, dinning, play grounds and a farm. Please pray for $4,000 needed to purchase a 2 acre piece of land next to our church. We need and apreciate contributions to that will enable us to purchase more dairy cows and chickens.

3. We are believing GOD for a mission Vehicle. ($6000-$10,000). The work is expanding and we need means of transport as soon as possible.

4. Construction of the pastor's house is one of the projects for this year. $15,000 is needed for this project.

5. We are working with the World radio Missionary fellowship in Indiana to set up a Christian FM Radio station in Uganda. This is a vital tool to reach our nation with the message of Jesus Christ. We must raise $24,000 for this project. If you feel the Lord is leadng you to become a sponsor for a radio station in Uganda, please contact me for details and we can link you with the The World Radio Missionary Fellowship. Any and all donations will be appreciated.

6. Please pray with us that GOD will help mobilize the right team of believer partners who will come along side Impact Uganda with their prayers, resources and encourgement to help us advance the gospel of Jesus Christ.

7. We are also hoping during 2003, that some of you will consider coming to Uganda on short term (7 to 14 days) missions trips to experience ministry first hand. If you are interested, please e-mail me for details.

8. Paul, in 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3, asks for the prayer of his brothers in Christ so that the "message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honred..." They prayed for and with Paul, the same hopes and ambitions. Paul was counting on them for the advancement of the Gospel. Please condsider partnering with Impact Uganda in the same way to see how GOD will do great and wonderful things for the Kingdom of Christ in Uganda.p>
